After a day travel from Belgium or the Netherlands, you are in South East Poland, close to the Ukraine. The Sub Karpaten are hilly and largely occupied with forest. There a large population of brown bears live in Europe, perfectly in harmony with the local population. The area is also known for the population of Wild Wolves.
Our partner has build hides on two interesting places where the bears come to feed. One hide is in the beautiful forests looking towards a hilly area with good photo opportunities between the trees. Two other hides have a view on an open field in the forested hills.
You can observe and photograph them from comfortable photo huts. The bears are sometimes as close as 10 meters.Sometimes they stay further away. Incidentally also Wild Wolves appear in front of the hides. This is a great bonus in case it happens!
Bears make it a truly unique place with great opportunities, where we as hide photography specialists can send you.
In south-east Poland, exactly on the border with Ukraine, a wooded and abandoned region, the local people have learned to live happily with the presence of large predators such as wolves and bears. They are sometimes even noticed in the streets of the small villages. But at least they are protected and respected.
As always, we absolutely want to bring you a fair story and that is that Bears and even more so Wild Wolves can not just be photographed. Patience is the message, and that deserves these animals too! The chance of success is absolutely great but not always guaranteed. There will sometimes be days when it does not work. That is why a minimum number of attempts have also been included in our program.
Long wait, patience, constant alert and above all realize that you are waiting for some of the most beautiful animals in the world. You should remember that when you travel. It is not a zoo where something comes on command and that's the way it should be.
But if it succeeds to see Bears or even Wolves, it is an absolute top experience where your heart goes wild and you never forget that! The raw power and beauty of these animals is incredible.
THE HIDES
There are 3 photo hides available from small to large, each at a different height to get different views. They are beautiful, spacious, sturdy constructions with all the necessary comfort, even with sanitary facilities.
Big plus is that you look through glass but photograph without glass. that improves the quality of your images!

THE ACCOMODATION
MODERN & COZY COMFORT IN A SMALL VILLAGE
In a very small village is a farm on 24 hectares of land. You will stay in beautiful typical bungalows, which offer every comfort. Fireplace, bathroom with shower, kitchen, neat bedrooms, in short everything you need.
The package is full board and you can eat in the main house of the farm. The food is obviously Polish cuisine but perfectly fine.
From this accommodation you can even see the cabins on top of the mountain across the road. You are 10 minutes away from the hut and the guide will take you to a sturdy Land Rover. This means that you stay in the middle of the wolves, which is also a unique fact.

YOUR PROGRAM
Day 1
Arrival at Rzeszow International Airport, then transfer to your destination.
Day 2-3-4-5-6
Lookout session from 4 p.m. for the best lights - you will spend the night on the lookout to attend the first light of the day, until around 10-11 a.m.
These are the times when the animals were most often observed.
You will be provided with everything you need for dinner on the lookout, as well as enough hot water for coffee and / or tea.
Return to the chalet for a well-deserved rest!
Day 7
Transfer to Rzeszow airport for your return flight.

FLIGHTS AND TRANSFERS
We are traveling to Reszow in Poland. These flights leave from Amsterdam or Brussels and often a stopover in Warsaw. LOT Polish Airlines offers this destination.
From Reszow there is a transfer to the location, 3 hour journey.
ACCOMMODATION
Comfortable bungalow with full board - double and single rooms possible.
