Guidance:
Depending on your place of departure, you will travel alone or with a group to the Shetland Islands. Our guide during the entire trip is indicated at the dates and on site there are also our English-speaking colleagues who accompany the group and take them to the relevant locations. During this trip we will work with two groups of three photographers, both with their own private guide.
Flight and transport:
You book the flights yourself and they are not included in the price. From the airport we travel together towards our final stay.
Accommodation:
As always we stay with Wildpix Travel in comfortable accommodations and for the Shetland Islands this is a combination of 3 days in a hotel and 4 days in a private house. We stay there in full board including all meals during the day, but excluding drinks.
Cash:
You can pay for your additional expenses on site by credit card.

Price based on full board and a stay in an single room, 6 photo days € 3499 for the group trip in 2023

Payment:
After booking, you will receive a payment request and the full amount will be paid in advance by bank transfer. In this way everything is arranged and your trip is reserved, of course you will receive an invoice.
What if I have to cancel my trip?
In case of cancellation, you must always inform us as soon as possible. Since we also have to pay cancellation costs to our partners, we must pass these on to you according to the schedule below, which are also indicated in the general terms and conditions and in the travel information that is sent to you. You can always contact your cancellation insurance.
Deadlines for cancellation fees:
up to 6 months before departure: 25% of the total travel sum
within 6 months before departure: 100% of the total travel sum
Extraordinary circumstances: In case of cancellation of the trip by the organization on site due to exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions, death, war conflicts, aviation disruptions, no refund is possible for these reasons. You can always contact your travel insurance.
