Our philosophy about responsible nature photography

 

Wildpix is an initiative of two absolute nature lovers who first look at the welfare of the animals and their environment and only then think about the photos. That is why you will not find any trips with us about which we have the slightest doubt about the ecological approach and respect for nature. Where necessary, we work with all exemptions and permits.

What does "individual" travel mean?

 

We work according to a unique individual concept which actually only has advantages. We organize your desired trip down to the last detail, but we will not accompany you. We leave that to our highly skilled colleagues on site. There is nothing better than going out with someone who knows the region and the possibilities like no other. You can go whenever you want, do not have to pay our travel and guidance costs, and benefit from the constantly updated travel information and program.

When can I go?

 

With most trips you can specify your most desired travel period. We will work with your wishes.

Some other tours are guided group tours, this is often because the areas visited have limited access.

Who am I traveling with?

 

Because of our individual concept, you decide with whom you travel. There's nothing more annoying than someone in a travel group that you don't click with. After all, you prefer to photograph with people you know. In principle, we do not put people together; certainly not without prior consultation and agreement.

Can I request information?

 

If you are interested in one of our trips, you can request the extensive travel information without obligation. Often an application form is included with which we will work for you.

What will I receive after booking?

 

After your booking, you will receive detailed travel information from us with everything you need to know in preparation and on site. For one-way trips, you can contact our colleague on site directly after your booking to make all your arrangements.

What if I need help from Wildpix on site?

 

If you have any questions during your trip, you can always contact us. We can always help you with practical or administrative matters, or facilitate contact with your local guide if necessary.

Do I have a guarantee of success?

 

Although our destinations give you maximum opportunities, nature remains unimaginable. Good nature photographers know that within nature photography there is no guarantee to take pictures of the desired animal species.

Am I insured?

 

With all our trips you take out your own travel and/or accident insurance. Visiting all our destinations is therefore at your own risk. We also recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

Where can I see results from previous photographers?

 

Participants in our trips get access to a special forum where experiences per trip can be shared. This way you can already get a good impression of the possibilities. You will find many sample photos on our site in the hall of fame or on can also visit the Wildpix Facebook page.

What material is already in the photo hides?

 

Our photo hides are furnished as comfortably as possible. One is a bit more spacious than the other, but they have all been installed and tested by us. Some cabins are equipped with headset screws so that tripods in the cabin are not necessary. Most cabins have soundproofing, seat cushions, blankets and sometimes a heater. In the travel information you receive you can read how the cabin is furnished on site.

What if I have to cancel my trip?

 

In case of cancellation, you must always inform us as soon as possible. Since we also have to pay cancellation costs with our partners, we also have to pay a cancellation fee in some cases.

This is explained in detail below, in the general terms and conditions and in the travel information that you will receive.

You can always contact your cancellation insurance for this.

 

Deadlines for cancellation fees:

 

5 TO 3 MONTHS BEFORE DEPARTURE. 25% OF THE TOTAL TRAVEL SUM

3 TO 2 MONTHS BEFORE DEPARTURE. 50% OF THE TOTAL TRAVEL SUM

 

2 TO 1 MONTH BEFORE DEPARTURE               80% OF THE TOTAL TRAVEL SUM

 

1 MONTH TO 1 DAY BEFORE DEPARTURE. 100% OF THE TOTAL TRAVEL SUM
