La Genette is a magnificent and shy inhabitant of the forests of the south. But very rarely you will see such an animal in the wild, they are mainly nocturnal. We can offer you a location where you can photograph the superb Genette with a high chance of success. From technically ingenious photo hides, you can admire a very beautiful natural setting of forest and a water point where the Genette often comes at dusk. They're not bothered by the lookout lighting and it gives you as a photographer enough light to capture the action. It is a wonderful sight to see these rare animals emerge from the forest.
Later you will photograph another rarity, the Bearded Vulture. More on that below.

YOUR PROGRAM
Day 1.
- Arrive at Barcelona airport, pick up the rental car and check in at the hotel
- First Genet Cat session. Three hours before sunset. The photographer's car will be parked in Sant Antoni and you will be driven to the refuge by the guide's vehicle. The session lasts three to four hours.
- Night in Sant Celoni.
Day 2.
- Hawk and forest bird hide session from sunrise to midday.
- Lunchtime in Sant Antoni.
- Second Genet Cat session. The same procedure as the first day.
- Night in Sant Celoni.
Day 3.
in Solsona (90 minutes) and meeting with the guide at 8:00 a.m. for the Bearded vulture session.
You can leave your luggage at the hotel, but check-in takes place after the hide session.
- First Lammergeier session until 4 p.m.
Day 4.
Second bearded vulture session. No relocation necessary.
Overnight in Solsona
Departure in the morning after 10 a.m.
UNIQUE COMBINATION WITH THE BEST HIDES FOR BEARDED VULTURE AND OTHER RAPTORS ...
On days 3 and 4, you will go to the photo hides for the spectacular bearded vulture. This rare bird of prey is incredibly beautiful and not always easy to see, but here the chances are great. Often you will first see a lot of Griffon Vultures and Egyptian vultures, a fast-paced group that takes care of food. Lots of action and great photo opportunities as they fly and land very close to the hide. Thus, flight pictures, action pictures and portraits are possible.
There is never a guarantee, of course, but the chances are maximum. As a rule, the bearded vulture only comes after all this commotion, when calm has returned to the hide. Sometimes alone or as a couple if you're lucky. It is a sensational moment to see this rare vulture.
To give you the best chances, we schedule this hide for 2 days in a row, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. You bring your own lunch and your drinks.
IN PERFECT PHOTO HIDES FOR SUPERB RESULTS
We attract the Genets by feeding them. There is also a water point (drink station) allowing photographs with beautiful reflections on the water. In addition, tree trunks or stumps are arranged around the facility to allow Genets to interact with these elements. The Genets, between two and five, are lit by LED lights, so no flash is needed or required.
You can work like in the light of day..
The distance with the Genet cat is between two and twelve meters.
Since 4-5 meters is the most common, a 70 - 200mm or similar is the best lens here.
Lookout for up to two people with high quality one-way glass.

You fly to Barcelona. From there you take a rental car.
Of course, you will receive all the necessary traffic information from us. The guide will meet you there.
ACCOMMODATION
You will stay in a good hotel, with breakfast. Lunch and dinner can be arranged on site, shops and grocery stores are nearby as well as an excellent restaurant in the hotel.
