LOOK A GOLDEN EAGLE RIGHT IN THE EYES!
You can now experience for yourself what it is like to take photographs of mostly golden eagles from a beautiful North Swedish shelter with only nature around you.
But next to the golden eagle there is a chance of more; think of various species of ravens, colorful crows, hawk, woodpeckers, bullfinches and other songbirds. But a fox can also just pass by. We are in a very beautiful expansive area on our own grounds, where brown bears, wolves and wolverines also occur. But the main goal of this trip is the golden eagle and the chance to see it is almost certain if you take out about three photo days. Very big chance of success.
Just like other destinations, this trip is on an individual basis, whereby you travel to Sweden on our own initiative under our mapped out organization and concept. On the spot you will be guided by our excellent English-speaking colleague, and also well-known Swedish nature photographer, with the best possible knowledge of things.
You can use this option and plans with a maximum of three photo friends between the end of October and April. A detailed description of the various months can be found in the detailed information.
Preferably you are looking for travel companions yourself, but as a service you can also use our help to find travel companions.
Although the chances of success are very great here, we advise you to take at least three photo days for this trip. In that case you almost have a guarantee for photographing a golden eagle.
Photo hide and accommodation
You spend the days in a very spacious and comfortable photo hut with three separate rooms with photo openings in all directions of view. In one of the rooms there is a toilet bucket and it is very good to keep going for a day.
The area is as good as snow in the long winter, which certainly benefits your results. You can visit the hut between the end of October and April. You will be taken away well before the first light and in the majority of cases during the first day accompanied by the colleague on the spot and guided.
As soon as it is dark outside, you will be picked up again. The cabin is equipped with a wood stove to make your stay pleasant and to make fresh coffee or tea.

FOR WHO
This trip is suitable for people with lenses from 300 mm. Largely you can decide for yourself where you want the birds to be on the ground, but they can also come very close, think about eight meters in front of the hut. With a 500 mm you can make close-ups of the head. Totally unique! Depending on the condition of the roads, the hut is about 10 minutes walk from the car. Is the last dirt road not to ride, the walk takes about half an hour. A sledge is available for the heaviest items.
ACCOMODATION
You stay in a house of the photographer-guide on the spot. It is comfortable, cozy and you will be warmly welcomed. Based on full board. So you can discover Swedish cuisine from the first row.
TRAVEL ROAD
Flying on SKELLEFTEA (Sweden). Arrange yourself. You will be picked up there.
NUMBER OF PERSONS
Hut is provided for 3 people. If you are traveling alone, you can expect fellow photographers.
PRICE
Per person per photo hut day: 300 € / DAY
+ 1 x 150 € for all transports
(not per travel day, so if you travel 5 days but use three days of effective cabins, you only pay three days)

What if I have to cancel my trip?
In case of cancellation you should always inform us as soon as possible. Since we also have to pay cancellation costs with our partners, in some cases we also pay a cancellation fee.
